Here at Proactive Assistants, we are looking forward to the new challenges 2022 will bring and wish everyone a belated Happy New Year.
This first week of the year has been a busy start for us, helping clients tidy up loose ends from last year, which started on the 2nd January, tidying up paperwork in preparation for an imminent VAT return. The end of 2021 was a busy time for many of our clients, which meant various projects would require work during the holiday and the first week of the new year.
Credit Control calls for a couple of clients to ensure their money continues to flow promptly. Follow up calls from a marketing campaign posted out before Christmas. We also had invoices to complete for a client waiting for Purchase Orders.
Confidential minutes from a Panel Meeting from mid-December also needed to be finished to distribute for further reporting to the panel. Working with this new client for the last three months has been very interesting as we have learned so many new skills in helping them in their sector.
Earlier in the week, we processed membership invoices for an Association we support as we suggested, and they have agreed to move this process to quarterly to save time and money. After consulting with the membership, this was decided and implemented in October.
We rescheduled a meeting from just before Christmas due to a Covid outbreak at their office and went along to meet the CEO to discuss how we can help with their busy workload. It was a fascinating meeting learning all about their business and meeting the team, and looking forward to working with them on this new adventure.
