Recently, we have started implementing features of Microsoft365 for our clients, further enhancing the services that we provide and to offer added value.
I have always preferred to use a client’s email address rather than my own as I feel it looks more professional, and Microsoft365 allows us to access emails, documents, calendars, and contacts, from anywhere, so we can refer to documents as and when needed, even while working on site or attending meetings.
Tip
We have also been using Microsoft365 to ensure that our client’s documents are backed up and can be shared securely, this is something my outsourced IT partner helped me with. Did you know that Microsoft do not offer a backup of your business data as standard? Their terms and conditions advise of this, so it is worth checking and implementing a solution.
How
We recently offered these benefits to a client that had highly confidential information that they needed to share with us but at the same time wanted to monitor the progress of their project as we worked collaboratively.
The project was for a West Midlands based design agency and working this way allowed us to transmit their data, including telephone recordings that captured the responses to the questions we were asking on their behalf, for their research project. Our shared Office 365 storage space allowed our client to access their data in real-time and keep their own client informed on the progress being made.
Teams is another great part of the Microsoft365 service, including the video conferencing facilities that we use in many ways, whether for an initial chat with a potential new client, or for training sessions, or arranging meetings for our clients.
